Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez was born in Sri Lanka and is an actress, model and actor she has worked mostly in the Indian film industry. Her 2006 Miss Sri Lanka Universe title was also taken by her. Her family is multiracial, with Canadian, Sri Lankan, and Malaysian descent, Fernandez spent the early phase of her career in Bahrain. Her degree is in mass communication from the University of Sydney. She had a lengthy stint as a TV reporter and radio in Sri Lanka before she entered the world of modeling. She was one of Sri Lanka's top models after representing her country at Miss Universe 2006. On a tour for professional models through India in 2009 Jasmine was cast in the role Aladin to Sujoy Ghosh. In 2011 she was scouted for the character of Priya in the role of the female lead on "Murder 2". The film received commercial and critical success, which led to a flourishing profession for Fernandez. In the following years, she's starred in movies like Housefull 2 & 3, "Race 2", "Definition Of Fear" and Judwaa 2. Additionally, she has been the brand ambassador for a variety of international companies. Involved in her community, she's a benefactor to many charitable causes and organizations.
