Lisa Edelstein is an American actress who is best known for her work in House, a Fox medical series, House. When she turned 18, Lisa moved from Wayne to New York City from Wayne where she was raised according to conservative Jewish customs. But very soon, she became active in the club scene, making enough splashes that she was noticed by the press, simultaneously, she became aware of the devastation of AIDS. Then, she used her experience and fame, as well as her own training to both write and host a television show titled Positive Me. Awake to the Wild Side, a show she hosted for MTV was soon her assignment. When the show ended it was time to do film and TV productions. Her first job was in small parts and established herself gradually as an actress.
